Yes. Disposable medical grade corrective bandages are hypoallergenic, latex free and dermatologically tested. -
Can I apply the LIDS BY DESIGN strips over makeup?
-
Are LIDS BY DESIGN tapes suitable for men?
Yes. Designed for use by both genders, the disposable correction tapes feature skin-like technology, being transparent in form and comfortable enough for everyday and all-day use. -
Do LIDS BY DESIGN films last all day?
Yes. For a longer application, place the disposable strips on clean and dry eyelids, without make-up, oils or cream. When properly applied the organic base adhesive is designed to last up to 24 hours. -
How many correction tapes are included in each package?
Each pack contains 80 strips. -
How do I know the right tape size for me?
The heavier your eyelid, the larger the tape size you will need. Eye shape is a factor in choosing the appropriate band size. Read the product descriptions carefully to choose the ideal tape size, or try the tape set with all sizes to discover the perfect size for you. -
What do I do if I apply the product incorrectly?
The application process takes practice, if you don't get it right the first time remove the tape and reapply the correct way. Once you find the right application, remove the tape you tested with and replace with new for longer duration. -
Can I reuse the tapes?
Each LIDS BY DESIGN film is designed for a unique use. The tapes can be reused to practice their application otherwise they should be thrown away once removed. -
Can I apply LIDS BY DESIGN strips if I wear contact lenses?
Yes. Safe, non-irritating products are suitable for contact lens wearers. -
How soon will I see a difference in my appearance?
The results are immediate and last as long as you wear the disposable correction tapes. -
Do disposable patch strips leave a residue when removed?
No. When applied and removed correctly, the organic-based adhesive is completely removed from the skin without leaving any residue. -
Can I apply LIDS BY DESIGN disposable strips for under eye bags?
No. Disposable corrective strips are designed exclusively for use on the upper eyelid. -
What does the package contain?
Each LIDS BY DESIGN package contains 80 single-use correction tapes (enough for over a month) and a plastic tweezer. The tape set with all sizes of disposable tapes contains: 20 tapes of 3mm, 20 tapes of 4mm, 10 tapes of 5mm, 10 tapes of 6mm, 10 tapes of 7mm, and 10 tapes of 8mm.
LIDS BY DESIGN® Common Concerns
-
I can't apply them properly
-
I wasted a lot of disposable tape trying to practice applying them
Although single-use tapes are not reusable, you can retry one that was placed incorrectly until you achieve the perfect fit. Remember it won't be transparent or with enough glue but you will be able to practice applying it. When you find the right way apply new tape. -
They are not comfortable / I can feel them when I open and close my eyelids
This may be an indication that the size you selected is large enough for your eyes. Another indication is difficulty looking up. Try bands a size or two smaller than this, once you find the right size and fit it should be comfortable and not noticeable to the eye. -
The tweezer damaged the edges of the tape and it won't stick
Tweezers with tips that are not thin are not designed to apply these thin films, the thinness is what makes them comfortable and transparent but should be handled with care. The specially designed tweezers are the thinnest you can find, which means they touch the tape as little as possible and reduce the risk of damage. -
It is not transparent
-
The edges of the tape are lifted
-
I don't see any particular change
This may be an indication that the size you chose was too small for your eye, or that it was placed too low (below the area where the skin folds). Try placing higher or apply a larger size. -
Makeup looks different on disposable films
The disposable tape and the skin are different surfaces, so makeup inherently should be combined with two different directions. To avoid this difficulty, use the COLORSET pencil as a base over the disposable tape and eyelid to create a smooth surface. This base pencil is specially designed to be combined with the disposable tapes as it is oil free and will not affect the adhesive. Make sure the foundation pencil is flush with the edges of the disposable tape when applying. Then your shadows will apply evenly and be more intense. -
It does not blend harmoniously with the skin
Although disposable strips blend with most skin tones, we cannot guarantee that they will blend perfectly with all skin tones. However, you should try pressing and holding the disposable tape for a few seconds to ensure that the adhesive has blended as much as possible with the skin tone. If it's still not as sheer as you'd like you could use the COLORSET foundation pencil to apply the eyeshadows evenly over the disposable tape. We sincerely apologize if our product does not match your skin tone perfectly. -
The film folds over the eyelid
This means that the disposable tape was placed too high and instead of correcting the natural fold of the eyelid, it folded the skin. To avoid this place the disposable tape where the excess skin folds (which can be identified by the indentation line of this fold or wrinkles).

NECK RESCUE Common Concerns
-
How can I remove the disposable tape easily and safely?
The adhesive of the disposable tape is incredibly strong because we don't want it to come off during application. This means that when you are ready to remove your tape you need to be patient, try slowly, use warm water and a little oil to gently remove the disposable tape. Start in the center with warm water and a little oil working your way forward and towards the edges until the glue is removed. -
Sensation of irritation in the throat after removal
This may be because the removal was done quickly without hot water or oil. This product is hypoallergenic and latex free however there is acrylic in the glue so be sure to read the label and avoid application if you have any allergies. There is a possibility that too much skin was placed under the tape and caused irritation. -
Visible on the neck
Unlike LIDS BY DESIGN tapes, this disposable tape is not as transparent to the skin, although it is still discreet. We suggest you wear a collar or scarf if you have short hair, or wear your hair around the area. -
Hair caught on film
Some users may have receding hairline or hair growth on the back of the neck. It is important to remove all hair from the site of application of the disposable tape and prepare the skin properly using a small razor or brush to avoid pulling hair when removing the disposable tape. -
Difficulty in implementation
Unlike the LIDS BY DESIGN disposable bandages, which can be easily worn every day, the NECK RESCUE disposable bandage was designed for special occasions. After arranging your hair and preparing the skin, remove one side of the disposable tape protector and apply it to one side of the neck. Gather the excess skin towards the center of the disposable tape and place the other side at the other end of the neck after removing the other side protector. If you still have problems ask for help perhaps from someone preparing with you.
