“When I was in my 40s, I decided it was finally time to see if something could be done about the sagging of my eyelids, which was causing me to age prematurely and affecting my vision. When I went to the doctor for an opinion, the surgeon took a pencil around my eyelids to draw the excess skin and said: “We can cut something, when do you want to do it?” The uncertainty of what I would look like after surgery terrified me. I realized two problems through my experience: Why didn’t the surgeon have a more accurate tool that would allow me to see the result before I went under the knife, and secondly, why wasn’t there a non-surgical solution to this problem? Contours Rx was born not long after that visit to the doctor and we have by now carved a niche for ourselves in the beauty, medical and optometry industry. To me, being a successful entrepreneur is about being able to see how many other people you can help – helping them feel more confident, happy and successful in being themselves. Our products do just that.”
